투 힐스라는 이름에 대하여
처음 이 이름을 꺼내기 시작한 것은 이글을 쓴 시점으로 부터 8~9년 전으로 거슬러 올라갑니다. 벨지움의 앤트워프 왕립예술학교의 유학시절 내 전공이던 패션디자인을 작은 아뜰리에 가게로 시작하고픈 마음이었어요. 제가 살던 플랫의 골목에는 제게 그런 영감을 주는 아뜰리에 같은 100년 넘은 벽지가게, 털실가게, 빵가게, 빈티지한 느낌의 아이들옷과 엄마의 옷이 걸려있는 그런 편안하고 꾸밈없지만 선뜻 발길을 내어 들어오게 만드는 오래된 샵들들이 많았거든요
엄마와 아이, 가족들이 와서 쇼핑을 할수 있는 의류와 장난감, 책들을 서로 서로 각자의 동선대로 편하게 쇼핑하고 마음대로 머물다 갈 수 있는 공간으로서 만들고 싶은 꿈을 가졌습니다.
두 바퀴를 의미하는 것은 나와 예수님, 그리고 나와 타인의 관계이었고, 하나보다 두개의 바퀴가 모였을때 더 안전하게 많은 것을 끌수 있는 수레가 될 수 있다고 생각했어요.
제가 생각하는 우리는 서로를 필요로 하는 존재이고 독립된 우리 하나 하나는 각자의 개성과 아름다움과 자유함이 있으며 동시에 우리는 동일하게 서로에게 영향을 미치며 더 큰 일을 이루어 낼수 있거든요,
그리고 비유적으로 두 단어 투 휠스가 만나면 투힐스 라고 들리는 to Heals 소리가 나기때문에, 아뜰리에 투힐스를 통해 마음이 치유되고 기쁨이 살아나는 행복한 공간이 되었으면 하는 마음에 저는 이 이름을 오래 간직해 왔습니다.
20년간을 패션디자이너, 텍스타일 디자이너로 일하면서 동시에 6년동안 포슬린페인팅 강사일도 겸임하며 포슬린 페인팅이 주는 힐링과 기쁨으로 인해 바쁜 직장생활 속에도 열심히 그림을 그려왔어요. 그 기쁨으로 안해 이제 디자이너로서의 저의 경력은 현재의 저를 위한 밑거름이 되었고 도자기에 그림을 그리는 기쁨을 함께 다른사람들과 공유하기를 소망하고자 투힐스 공간을 소개합니다.
아뜰리에 투 힐스는 이제 꿈꾸던 작은 멀티샵의 사랑스런 샵이 아닌 이름다운 포슬린들과 페인팅으로 살아난 도자기들이 품고 있는 에너지와 빛과 색으로 아뜰리에 공간에 채워져서 작은 배움과 앤틱들이 수리되고 깨어진 것들이 고쳐지는 장소의 이름이 될것입니다.
이 작은 공간이 진정한 아뜰리에 이름으로 포슬린 페인팅을 통해 서로를 사랑하며 치유하며 배우며 살아가는 도구가 되길 바랍니다.

Each of us can illustrated by wheel, two wheels makes a wagon to carry heavy stuffs well. Putting together with two and wheels sounds like Heals Which i like the meaning of recover from what we can call bad. I wish the grace of God made every part of us when got sick, get over and heals.
when i thought of this name was about 8-9 years ago to think about my own shop's name that was designed by me for shopping place of mom & dad & kids clothes , books, toys etc.
they can enjoy while shopping at a place together or when someone doing and others can do other. not only for buy but also for enjoyment through all the items in place that i designed. even none buy anything, i thought it was just okay. because this shop would wheeling by Lord Jesus and me where we actually can work out together one and the others.
If someone wanted items eagerly at shop but doesn't afford themselves to buy, i am willing to give the items as a present.
once time i told about this idea of shop to my friend. it's so pretty and lovely idea but who can pay for run to shop? i wasn't sure about financial problem but only thought of ideal of shop concept without worry because he will blessed me.
Time past, dream can't be always true.
but i am still kept this name for G*d and me ,beside you and me.
It is place that i can breathing , i hope it wouldn't be spread out.
Now Under this name, Atelier TwowHeels as porcelain painting atelier where I wish that we will be healed by art, love, concern, under name of Grace of G*d for learning, loving and living.
